That position reports directly to you, as voters, and is responsible for these primary divisions of county government:

1. Chief Election Official
2. Recorder of Deeds and other official documents
3. Clerk for the county commissioners
4. Motor vehicle titles and tags

As Chaffee County Clerk and Recorder, I will:

• Ensure appropriate levels of service in the clerk’s office throughout the county.
• Insist on timely and friendly service in all areas of the clerk’s office.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Uphold the integrity of the voting process in this county, for all parties, for both ends of the county.
• Fight for transparent election processes, while maintaining the secrecy of your vote.
• Stand against same-day voter registration.
• Work for photo ID requirements for voter registration
